ADHD + Money Workshop
Your relationship with money isn't a character flaw.
It's a nervous system pattern. And once you can see it, you can actually change it.
This workshop is for ADHDers who are exhausted by their own money behavior and have tried every budget app that made no difference.

Do you recognize yourself?
Stop me if any of this sounds familiar.
- "I bought something and felt instant relief... then instant shame."
- "I haven't looked at my bank account in months."
- "I can't decide which streaming plan to cancel. I've been thinking about it for months."
- "I check my balance multiple times a day and it still doesn't help."
- "I technically have money but I'm terrified to spend any of it."
These aren't personal failures. They're patterns. And they all come from the same place.
What's actually going on
It's not that you're bad with money. It's that your nervous system is running the show.
When your system is dysregulated, your logical brain, the part that makes calm, clear decisions, isn't in the driver's seat. Your survival brain is.
And your survival brain has one job: find relief and avoid discomfort. It doesn't care that this is hurting you in the long run.
The same nervous system, showing up in opposite ways:
Spending for reliefimpulsive, then regret
or
Hoarding, frozencan't decide, terrified to spend
Never check accountsavoidance, dread
or
Check them obsessivelycan't stop, still no relief
Doesn't matter which side you land on. Both are a nervous system in fight-or-flight. Both are natural responses to dysregulation.
Your logical brain isn't broken.
It's just not in the driver's seat.
It's just not in the driver's seat.
Regulation work is how you get it back.
The three patterns
Most ADHDers land in one or swing between all three.
See which one lands hardest for you.
Pattern 1
The Relief Spender
Spending creates a moment of relief then regret comes after. The cycle repeats. You feel like you urgently need to buy this thing now! Please know this isn't you being irresponsible, it's soothing dysregulation.
Pattern 2
The Fear Holder
You feel paralyzed about making any money decisions or spending what you have. You always regret purchases and fear you made the wrong choice. You can't decide which jam to buy. Literally.
Pattern 3
The Financial Avoider
You just can't bring yourself to look at your accounts. The longer you avoid, the more shame you feel, which keeps you avoiding. It's a vicious cycle.
This is what dysregulation looks like with money. Not laziness. Not stupidity. A nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do in the face of stress.
Your guide
Hi, I'm Jenna.
I'm a therapist who specializes in ADHD and I know firsthand how exhausting it is to understand something intellectually and still not be able to make your brain follow through.
Money was one place I kept hitting that wall. And when I started looking at it through the lens of nervous system regulation instead of budgeting strategy, everything shifted.
That's what I want to give you in this workshop.
What this workshop is and isn't
You've tried the apps. They didn't fix it.
Because lack of information or tools isn't the problem. A system in survival mode will highjack any logic or strategies you have.
This workshop is not
- A budgeting system
- A stricter spreadsheet
- An app recommendation
- More discipline
- Punishment or shame
It's this
- Understanding your pattern
- Building capacity to pause
- Tolerating the discomfort
- Slowing the urgency
- Getting your logical brain back
Regulation work doesn't tell you what to do with your money. You already know what to do, now let's give you the ability to do it.
What you'll walk away with
Real change, not another system you'll abandon in two weeks.
Here's what this workshop actually gives you:
1
You'll recognize your own patterns
Relief spender, fear holder, or avoider and what's driving it underneath.
2
You'll understand why logic hasn't worked
And what has to happen first before any system or strategy can stick.
3
You'll have tools to regulate in the moment
When the urge to spend, freeze, or avoid hits, you'll have somewhere to go. And we'll build the skills so that happens less and less often.
4
You'll stop blaming yourself
You can't fix something you think is just who you are.
This is for you if
You already know what you should do. You just can't make yourself do it.
you've tried budgeting apps and they've never lasted more than two weeks
you feel embarrassed or ashamed about how you handle money
you swing between spending everything and being terrified to spend anything
money decisions feel physically overwhelming, not just mentally hard
you know what you should do and still can't make yourself do it
you've wondered if you're just broken when it comes to this
You're not broken. You're dysregulated (and that's not your fault... but only you can get yourself out of it).
